The SELPA III CAC (Community Advisory Committee) is a group of parents and educators interested in helping children who have special educational needs. We serve children and parents in 11 school districts within Santa Clara County that the state has grouped into a Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) for coordinating services to children who have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan.
We exist to advise SELPA III on implementation of their plan for services, and to provide educational events where parents and teachers can learn how to better support kids with special needs.
